01Approach
The same work gets done when the owner is not there
The commonest problem in yacht maintenance is work that was never done looking as though it was. The boat sits in the water, nothing shows from outside, and the difference surfaces mid-season at the worst possible moment.
So every job we carry out is photographed: the part removed, the filter changed, the raw-water circuit cleaned, the battery voltage measured. The report tells you the same thing whether or not you were there.
A routine schedule is drawn up around the boat type and how hard she is used. Winterisation and fit-out run to separate checklists; neither is waved through with a line saying "general service carried out".

Fresh and grey water systems, bilge pumps, air-conditioning cooling line, leak tracing.
Winterisation
Draining systems, antifreeze, battery conservation, covers and ventilation.
Season fit-out
Antifouling, anode renewal, propeller and shaft checks, recommissioning of systems.
Breakdown response
On-site response to in-season faults, parts sourcing and referral to a yard where needed.
03Process
How a maintenance job runs
- 01
Condition survey
The current condition is inspected on site and the work needed is listed in priority order, with photographs.
- 02
Quotation and approval
A line-by-line quotation is given. Nothing is done without your approval, and anything discovered mid-job is raised separately.
- 03
Execution
The work is carried out and each step photographed; replaced parts are kept on request.
- 04
Report and schedule
A photo-documented report is issued and the next service date is put in the calendar.
Where our scope ends
We carry out routine maintenance, breakdown response and seasonal preparation. Hull repair, engine overhaul, paintwork and major refit are yard work and fall outside our scope; we refer you to a suitable yard and, if you wish, follow the job on your behalf.
Next step
Tell us about the boat and the plan, and we will give you a realistic duration and price.
With the vessel details, route and dates in hand, our first reply is an assessment rather than a guess.
